Red Hawks tie Saints on road

The following are HHSS sports briefs for the week ending Dec. 23.

The Red Hawks hockey team had a solid outing as they tied the league-leading St. Peter’s Saints 3-3 on Tuesday Dec. 20 in Peterborough. Forward Josh Boice led the way with two goals and an assist in this tremendous effort by the team.

Congratulations go out to the senior girls’ volleyball team on their second place finish at the tournament in Fenelon Falls – splitting games with Brock Fenelon LCVI Weldon and defeating St. Thomas.

Hawks B-ball team outlasts Campbellford
Congratulations to the senior boys’ basketball team on excellent play in Peterborough. The team defeated Campbellford 47-42 and lost a very competitive close game to Port Hope 53-43.
