On Sunday May 27 the Haliburton Concert Series will begin its 40th season of concerts by presenting the MitBravour Piano Trio.
The trio is composed of Mauro Bertoli piano Jethro Marks viola and Paul Marleyn cello. Bertoli is a virtuoso pianist who has delighted Haliburton audiences in the past and he returns for this concert with two equally wonderful musicians. They will perform music by Brahms Chopin Piazzolla and Smetana in a concert of duets and trios.
For the comfort and convenience of our audience all of the three concerts in our season will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoons. They take place in the Northern Lights Performing Arts Pavilion in the Haliburton Highlands Secondary School in Haliburton village.
Refreshments will be served at intermission and there will be an opportunity to speak with the musicians following the concert.
Subscriptions for the three concerts are $60 for adults and $25 for students and are available from Fred Shuttleworth at 705-455-9060 or fred.ann.shuttleworth@gmail.com.
