RE: the tourism saying I can’t even bring myself to write.
Several years ago when I moved to this county I asked a lodge owner why he hired university students from elsewhere as summer workers when theunemployment rate among local people was so high.  His response was that guests who were paying big dollars for vacations did not want to beserved by wait staff who said “youse people.”
Was he wrong has thatchanged or do the tourism marketing people think being so revoltinglyungrammatical will generate more new business than it loses?
