Fourteen graduating Grade 8 students are leaving the classrooms of Wilberforce Elementary School behind and heading into the big world this fall.
On June 28 the graduates reflected on their years at the small school at the annual graduation ceremony held at the Lloyd Watson Centre.
Valedictorian Abigail Kauffeldt shared memories of her fellow classmates and highlighted their best qualities and what she will miss.
Looking to the future Kauffeldt encouraged each and every student to make good decisions and strive for success.
“Challenges will come your way but stay true to your heart and keep your head up” she said. “We are the future doctors educators politicians and scientists. I truly believe that all of you have potential to achieve your dreams.”
