Thanks to a solid amount of rain over the last week the countywide burn ban was cancelled Wednesday Aug. 17.
As of Aug. 23 the fire hazard level is now "high" rather than "extreme."
The dry summer conditions had led to the ban which had restricted outdoor burning and fireworks.
Currently there is a ban on daytime burning until Oct. 31.
