Snowmobiler taken to hospital following crash

A 45-year-old woman from Hanover Ont. was taken to hospitalfollowing a snowmobile accident on Saturday.

According to the Haliburton Highlands detachment of the OPP around2:30 p.m. on March 5 a single sled struck a cabin at HaliburtonForest and Wild Life Reserve.

EMS and the Dysart fire department responded to the call andtransported the woman to the air ambulance.

The woman who was the lone occupant on the vehicle was airlifted toa Toronto hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash police say.
