The Haliburton County Snowmobile Association (HCSA) has closed its network of 370 kilometres of trail for the season. The club simply ran out of snow with the quick thaw and felt it could not provide a safe, rideable enjoyable experience. The season, which was one of the most challenging in terms of the weather, saw HCSA membership and community support grow significantly. It was a milestone year for the HCSA in its fifth decade of operation.
