Members of the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are at the scene of a fatal snowmobile collision in the Municipality of Dysart et al.

Earlier today (Feb. 2), at approximately 12:30 p.m., the OPP responded to a single snowmobile collision on Ontario Federation Snowmobile Clubs E109 trail. The lone snowmobile operator was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The OPP’s technical collision investigators and collision reconstructionists will be assisting with the investigation of this collision. The investigation is continuing and further details will be provided when they become available.
