Ontario Provincial Police are continuing to investigate the deaths of two St. Catharines residents.

Remains were found on Jan. 21 in the area of Glamor Lake Road in Highlands East .

"Police identified the two deceased as Deidra Ann Smith 35 years old and Ghislain ('Justin') Robichaud 34 years old both of St. Catharines Ontario" a news release from the OPP says.

A search at a residence in St. Catharines was conducted by the Haliburton Highlands Crime Unit assisted by Forensic Investigation Services on Feb. 21 Haliburton Highlands OPP say.

A vehicle was also seized for forensic examination.
