Adult passengers on a bus that was rear-ended by a passenger vehicle on Gelert Road this morning are reporting minor injuries.
Haliburton Highlands Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the collision involving a bus and a passenger vehicle.
According to an OPP press release, on Feb. 25, shortly before 10:00 a.m., Haliburton Highlands OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a bus and a passenger vehicle at the intersection of Gelert Road and Koshlong Lake Road in the Municipality of Dysart et al.
“The initial investigation indicated the automobile struck the rear of the bus as it was slowing to make a turn,” reads the press release. “At the time of the collision there were adult passengers on the bus. Minor injuries were reported. The investigation into this collision is ongoing.”

Drivers are reminded that due to deteriorating driving conditions, to reconsider unnecessary travel and stay home. If you do need to drive, please adjust your driving accordingly. Slow down and leave ample space between you and the vehicle in front of you.
