Darren Padilla 47 also known as Darren Laite was found by Ontario Provincial Police in the county on Monday March 7 at 9:30 a.m.
According to Haliburton Highlands OPP their officers responded to a call of a sudden death on Telephone Bay Road in Highlands East. Foul play is not suspected and there is no public safety concern Const. Dianna Dauphinee said.
On March 3 Toronto police had executed a search warrant at Padilla's home and alleged he had child sexual abuse images and videos on his computer.
Multiple Toronto media outlets say Padilla was a Toronto Transit Commission employee.
According to the Toronto police his death is not considered suspicious.
