Just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday police were called to the single-vehicle collision in Highlands East.
Investigation found that the motorcycle left the road and collided with the guard rails. The man who is from Hamilton Township had serious injuries.
Members of the Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation unit attended the scene to assist with the investigation which is ongoing.
