On Aug. 4 shortly before midnight the Haliburton Highlands OPP responded to an all-terrain vehicle collision on Boice Bradley Drive in Dysart et al.

Two males were riding the ATV when it entered a ditch and struck a tree. One male was treated and released from hospital. The second male Michael Bowen 27 of Mississauga was pronounced deceased.

No charges have been laid and police did not comment on who was driving the ATV at the time of the collision.
