A 22-year-old Haliburton man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault break and enter mischief under $5000 and failing to comply with a probation order.

Haliburton Highlands OPP and City of Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton Highlands Crime Unit began investigating the sexual assault allegation on Sunday Oct. 28.

The victim a woman had attended an area Halloween party. She was assaulted following the party police say.

The accused was scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay for a bail hearing.
