A 30-year-old man from Oakville died following an ATV accident in Harcourt Park on Sunday, July 12.

Police say the man was found by a passerby before 11 a.m., though the time of the crash is unknown, occurring sometime after 2:40 a.m.

The investigation found that the ATV “failed to negotiate a corner and rolled.” The man was found deceased at the scene. His name has not been released by police.

“Officers trained in collision reconstruction measured and documented the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation,” acting OPP Staff Sgt. Jason Folz said.

The man “was not wearing the appropriate safety equipment at the time,” he said.
