Uneven enforcement of cemetery rules

We went to Evergreen Cemetery last week to pay our respects to parents grandparents aunts uncles and cousins.  After walking around we observed at least five small garden decorated plots and numerous mementos on graves including pictures baseballs a cap beer bottles and some faded Christmas wreaths.

We wonder why the Acero grave décor was questioned in a confrontational she said/they said manner. It would appear that gender and racial sensitivity need to be included in employee education as well as how to approach the bereaved.
Standards need to be evenly enforced. Revisiting the bylaws is a good move for council. The Echo and the Highlander are to be commended for their coverage of this issue.
