The junior boys’ football team travelled to Fenelon Falls to take on the Falcons in their first game of the year.  The Red Hawks out-chanced Fenelon in the hard-fought contest.  Excellent efforts from the entire team with our stingy defence potent offence and effective special teams gave HHSS the edge on the scoreboard with a gritty 2-0 win.

The field hockey team took to the field against the Crestwood Mustangs. The Mustangs senior squad came out firing against the Red Hawks.  The Red Hawks battled hard and improved as the game went on. The end result was Crestwood 2 Red Hawks 0.

Congratulations to the 2017 HHSS golf team on a short but successful season.  Although we did not qualify to move on the the Kawarthas the team showed grit and counted every stroke.  On a positive note Sam Longo will be moving on as an individual.
