A house on the Irish Line was destroyed by fire on Monday July 13.

When firefighters from the Dysart et al fire department arrived the building was fully engulfed. The call for assistance came in at about 4 p.m.

The owner was able to get out of the residence safely and no firefighters were injured. The home was a total loss with damage estimated at $300000.
