No injuries have been reported following a fire at a residence on Autumn Lane west of Haliburton on July 27.
Upon arrival at about 8:30 p.m. firefighters found the north end of the house was engulfed in flames. They were able to control the blaze to that part of the residence but smoke and water damage was sustained throughout the building.
All residents exited the building safely and firefighters saved one pet. No one was injured said fire chief Mike Iles.
The Dysart fire department sent seven trucks and 23 firefighters. They were joined by another three fire trucks and eight firefighters from Minden Hills.
Iles said Dysart firefighters returned to the station at 7:35 a.m. July 28.
