Last year 70000 riders from over 200 communities nationwide took a ride on the Heart and Stroke Big Bike presented by Dairy Farmers of Canada. The funds they raised helped Heart and Stroke invest in critical research that has saved lives improved treatment and inspired hope for heart disease and stroke survivors.

Can we do it again this year? Sure we can but we need a little help from enthusiastic community members! This year Heart and Stroke is looking to recruit riders to participate in our province’s Big Bike rides taking place this spring on Thursday May 17.

Heart disease and stroke take a life every seven minutes. Sadly it’s safe to say we have all been touched by it. The magic of the Big Bike is that it brings people together for far more than just a simple bike ride – it unites every rider as they pedal towards a shared goal: to give Canadians more of life’s previous moments.
