The Haliburton Highlands Secondary School Figure Skating Team of Nicole Cox left Madison Allaire Denise Sherbakov Alexius Mills Arden Harrop River Christiano and Ruthie Parker finished sixth out of 43 schools at the annual High School Figure Skating Competition on March 7 to 8 in Aylmer.

This team consisted of students who were in Grade 9 to 12 and members of Skate Canada and the Minden Skating Club that competed in freeskate solos interpretive solos solo dance team elements and couples dance. Each skater earned points in their respective categories tallied for the total points.

Many had achieved personal bests. The field of competition at the invitational included schools from Hamilton Waterloo London and Welland including surrounding areas.
