Haliburton Highlands: cottage country and home to the natural beauty of lakes and forests. Haliburton Highlands: home to many amazing camps for children and teens. Haliburton Highlands: one of the poorest counties in Ontario. So many of our children and teens would benefit from all that the camp experience has to offer but so many of our families cannot afford to send their children to camp. The average cost to send a child/youth to camp is $800 per week for residential camp and $225 per week for day camp.

Since 1987 the Haliburton County Summer Camp Fund has helped children and youth build self-esteem friendships skills and memories at summer camp that will last a lifetime.  Our goal is to raise $9000 so we can send as many children with physical developmental social or behavioural challenges to camp.  All children sponsored through your donations are Haliburton County residents who attend local schools and who will attend local camps.

Please make camp a reality for our kids who need it most.
