The Haliburton County Public Library now accepts donations on its website haliburtonlibrary.ca.

While the library has always accepted donations it’s now made the process easier according to a press release from HCPL.

“Patrons are especially interested in donating to the library for specific projects and the library board is pleased to be offering an easier way for them to accomplish this” said board chairwoman Andrea Roberts. “We greatly appreciate the support we receive from the community.”

Money raised goes to items outside the core budget of HCPL. Currently money is needed for new technology and equipment to use in workshops.
