Discovery programs at Abbey Gardens for ages four to 14 are being offered for half-days in four-day session this summer.
The Lil’ Buds discovery program is for five- and six-year-olds to have fun while getting to know their “wild” backyard by using their senses. The program is being offered July 14 to 17 and Aug. 18 to 21.
The Outdoor Kids discovery program is for children from seven to 10 and explores the natural world through exploratory hikes eco-activities and crafts. It’s running from July 28 to 31 and Aug. 4 to 7.
The Taking the Reins program offers on-ground horsemanship with outdoor leadership skills for youth from 11 to 14 years old and is offered from Aug. 11 to 14.
