The Haliburton Highlands Adult and Alternate Education Centre's graduating class of 2019 was comprised of 23 students many of whom are now pursuing college and university degrees.
Each graduate had a personal story and testament of growth that was told through head admin and teacher Lori Sargent which reminded vice-principal Martin Gage of an old mentor’s saying: “There are many paths to the top of the mountain but once you get there the view’s the same. No matter what path you took you made it to the top of the mountain.”
The ceremony was held at McKecks Tap & Grill on June 26.
