Minden man dies following Lindsay crash

A Minden man was taken to hospital in Toronto with serious injuries following a collision south of Lindsay Monday March 14.

On March 16 OPP confirmed that he had died of injuries sustained in the crash.
According to the OPP the head-on collision happened at approximately 7 a.m. on March 14 along Highway 35 in the former Manvers township when a northbound vehicle crossed the centre line striking a southbound vehicle.
The driver of the southbound vehicle a 54-year-old man from the City of Kawartha Lakes was killed.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
“The 38-year-old driver that was transported to a Toronto area hospital has now died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision” the police release reads.
The 38-year-old Minden man has been identified as Jay Corby.
